National Landcare project Central Coast network

RDA Sydney are running a National Landcare Project called “How to run a resilient and profitable agricultural enterprise” The project covers Wollondilly, Hawesbury and the Central Coast regions. As part of this project they are holding an online session on Monday 15th February for the Central Coast to discuss collaborative networks to support local agribusiness
“Scott Newton of Gauge Consulting will facilitate discussion on collaborative networks to support agribusinesses operating on the Central Coast and present the findings of the 2020 consultations with peri-urban farmers across the Greater Sydney region.Priority issues, identified to date, include access to local markets, sustainable farming, consumer trends, agritourism opportunities and overcoming barriers to farming (zoning, access to capital, neighbours concerns etc). Richard Stephens of GSLLL will also discuss a new National Landcare Australia initiative called Landcare Farminghttps://landcareaustralia.org.au/landcarefarming/.”
